Houston, TX (My Sportsbook) - According to a report in the Houston Chronicle, Nate Jaqua, 26, has agreed to return to the Houston Dynamo for the remainder of the season.

Jaqua played the second half of last season with the Dynamo after coming over in a trade with the Los Angeles Galaxy. He was a pivotal piece of the the team's forward line that also included Brian Ching and Joseph Ngwenya. After the Dynamo won their second-straight MLS Cup in November of last year, Jaqua and Ngwenya inked contracts in Austria.

Dynamo chief operating officer Chris Canetti told the Chronicle on Saturday the forward could be added to the roster as soon as the contract is signed and the transaction is cleared by the league office, which is expected later this week.
