=== Nashville Predators Team Report - March 4 === (My Sportsbook) - The Nashville Predators try to rebound tonight when they visit the Pittsburgh Penguins at Mellon Arena. The Preds had a three-game unbeaten streak halted via Wednesday's 5-2 loss at Philadelphia. With 74 points, they are tied with Calgary for sixth in the Western Conference -- two ahead of eighth-place Los Angeles. The fifth and eighth-place clubs in the standings are separated by a mere five points. Against the Flyers, Nashville was burned by two goals off the stick of Philly defenseman Kim Johnsson. Nashville received goals from Scott Walker and Adam Hall, but fell to 2-1-1 in its last four. Chris Mason, giving All-Star Tomas Vokoun a night off, turned aside 21 of the 25 shots he faced in the loss. Philadelphia wasted no time getting to Mason as Johnsson beat the goaltender just 27 seconds into the game. The Predators, who are seeking the first playoff berth in their history, fell to 4-9-1 in their last 14 road games. They will close out a three-game trip with a match in Ottawa on Saturday night.
