San Francisco, CA (My Sportsbook) - San Francisco recalled pitcher Kevin Correia from a rehab assignment and activated him from the 15-day disabled list in time to start Sunday's contest with Oakland. Correia surrendered five runs on seven hits and two walks while fanning four in taking the loss. The right-hander was sidelined with a left intercostal strain since having to leave in the first inning of an April 26, 10-9 loss to the Cincinnati Reds. The 27-year-old is now 1-4 with a 5.17 earned run average in six starts this season. Correia has a 12-18 record with a 4.14 earned run average in 151 games -- 33 starts -- with the Giants. The club optioned pitcher Pat Misch to Triple-A Fresno on Saturday to make room for Correia.
