San Francisco, CA (My Sportsbook) - Eric Chavez was 3-for-4 with two runs batted in, providing a key hit in the sixth inning as the Oakland Athletics completed the three-game sweep of San Francisco, 5-3, in the finale of an interleague series at AT&T Park.

Carlos Gonzalez, Bobby Crosby and Daric Barton each contributed an RBI to the victory.

Dana Eveland (5-5) pitched well as the starter, surrendering just one run on six hits and three walks in 6 2/3 innings of action. The southpaw struck out five for Oakland, which has won four of its last five.

Emmanuel Burriss and Rich Aurilia each had two hits and a run scored for San Francisco, which has dropped three straight and five of its last six.

Kevin Correia (1-4) lasted 5 1/3 innings, allowing five runs on seven hits and two walks after being activated from the disabled list to start the game.

The A's broke the game open with four runs in the sixth. Mark Ellis led off with a single and Jack Cust walked two batters later. Chavez then lined a single to right, plating Ellis. Crosby followed with a double to center, scoring Cust and chasing Correia. Alex Hinshaw entered to face Gonzalez, who lined a single to right, scoring Chavez.

Hinshaw intentionally walked Kurt Suzuki, putting runners at the corners, and Barton hit an RBI groundout for the fourth run.

Chad Gaudin started the eighth after replacing Eveland with two outs in the seventh. The Giants loaded the bases with one out on singles by Aaron Rowand, Aurilia and Fred Lewis. Keith Foulke replaced Gaudin and pinch-hitter John Bowker singled to left, scoring one. Pinch-hitter Bengie Molina followed, lofting a sac fly to center for a second run. Omar Vizquel flied out to end the inning.

Huston Street retired the Giants in order in the ninth, earning his 13th save.

San Francisco struck first in the third when Randy Winn hit an two-out RBI to right, scoring Burriss.

Oakland tied the game in the fourth when Chavez hit an RBI single to score Ryan Sweeney and tie the game at one run apiece.

San Francisco recalled Correia from a rehab assignment and activated him from the 15-day disabled list in time to start Sunday's contest with Oakland...the club optioned pitcher Pat Misch to Triple-A Fresno on Saturday to make room for Correia...Oakland has now taken seven straight from the Giants dating back to last season...San Francisco is now 0-6 in interleague play this season...This was the first save situation for the A's in 17 games, the longest streak since 1981...Street picked up his first save since May 27.
