Atlanta, GA (My Sportsbook) - Braves third baseman Chipper Jones and New York Mets left fielder Moises Alou left Wednesday's 11-4 Atlanta win due to injuries. Jones, who is hitting a major league-best .410 for the season, smashed his 398th career homer, but left with a bruised right shin after being hit by a pitch from Scott Schoeneweis in the seventh inning. Alou departed the game in the bottom of the third inning due to a cramp in his left calf. It was the second straight night players from each team left due to injury. On Tuesday, Mets outfielder Ryan Church and Braves shortstop Yunel Escobar were hurt in a collision at the conclusion of the nightcap of a doubleheader. Both didn't play Wednesday.
