San Diego, CA (My Sportsbook) - San Diego Padres starting pitcher Chris Young left Wednesday's game against the St. Louis Cardinals after getting hit in the face by an Albert Pujols line drive in the third inning. With one out and runners on first and second, Young offered an 0-2 slider that Pujols lined right back at the pitcher. Young went down clutching his bloodied face, as the trainer came out to evaluate him. Clearly, Young was unable to stay in the game and Cla Meredith took over on the hill.
