Hamburg, Germany (My Sportsbook) - Reigning champion Roger Federer
cruised into the final of the $2.955 million Masters Series Hamburg on
Saturday with a straight-set victory over Italian Andreas Seppi.
The top-seeded Federer blew past Seppi 6-3, 6-1, running his lifetime mark at
the event to 24-8. It was the second matchup between the 26-year-old Federer
and Seppi, and the Swiss star has won both.
Second-seeded clay-court king Rafael Nadal and Australian Open titlist Novak
Djokovic are playing Saturday for the other spot in the finale of the clay-
court French Open tuneup. The high-flying Djokovic was last week's clay-
court champion in Rome.
The three-time French Open champion Nadal, who has to beat Djokovic on
Saturday in order to retain his world No. 2 ranking, is 6-3 lifetime against
the surging Serb, including a semifinal victory in a Masters Series tournament
at Indian Wells earlier this season.
Nadal is a remarkable 106-2 in his last 108 matches on clay.
