Colorado Springs, CO (My Sportsbook) - The United States Anti-Doping Agency
announced Monday that an independent arbitrator from the North American Court
of Arbitration for Sport has ruled that weightlifter Josh Moreau was
suspended for two years due to doping.
The 26-year-old Moreau tested positive for metabolites of cannabis at the 2007
Weightlifting National Championships on May 13, 2007. Moreau's two-year period
of ineligibility began August 3, 2007, the date of his acceptance of a
provisional suspension.
As a result of the doping violation, Moreau was disqualified from his third-
place result at the 2007 National Championships.
