For the second straight game, Pierce just missed his second triple-double of the season. In Wednesday's 101-93 win versus Orlando, he was one assist shy of the feat with 19 points, 10 boards, and nine helpers. Ricky Davis added 16 points in his first game against his former team for the Celtics, who have won two games in a row and three of four. Davis was obtained by Boston in a six-player deal with the Cavs on December 15. Boston won consecutive home games for only the second time this season. The Celtics have won 12 straight against the Cavs at home since November 7, 1997. The Celtics have a few days off before returning to the court to take on the Milwaukee Bucks at the Bradley Center Tuesday night. |
