Bridgeport, CT (My Sportsbook) - Chauntise Wright scored 21 points to lead the fourth-seeded Louisville Cardinals to an 81-67 victory over the 13th- seeded Miami-Ohio RedHawks in the first round of the New Orleans Region of the NCAA Tournament. Angel McCoughtry added 20 points and eight rebounds for Louisville (25-9), which will now battle the fifth-seeded Kansas State Wildcats in second round action. Brandie Radde posted 13 points for the Cardinals, while Patrika Barlow dished out a game-high 11 assists. Amanda Jackson netted 22 points for Miami-Ohio (23-11), while Laura Markwood chipped in 13 points to go along with eight rebounds. The Cardinals shot a staggering 65.4 percent from the field in the first half and went into the break with a commanding, 41-28 lead. Louisville continued its tremendous offensive play in the second stanza, shooting 60.9 percent from the floor en route to the 14-point win.
