Palm Beach Gardens, FL (My Sportsbook) - Canterbury Golf Club has been chosen to host the 70th Senior PGA Championship in 2009. Established in 1921, the storied course in Beachwood, Ohio, has hosted 13 major tournaments and championships since 1932 when Walter Hagen won the Western Open. It was chosen as the site for the first post-World War II U.S. Open in 1946. Canterbury last hosted a major championship in 1996, with Dave Stockton winning the U.S. Senior Open, and the 70th Senior PGA will mark just the second time the event has been held in Ohio. The 69th Senior PGA will be held this year from May 22-25 at Oak Hill Country Club in Rochester, New York.
