Denver, CO (My Sportsbook) - Denver Broncos safety Kenoy Kennedy is getting too familiar with being disciplined by the league, but this time he is ready to appeal the $30,000 fine for a hit in Sunday night's win over Indianapolis. Kennedy was fined for his helmet-to-helmet hit on Colts wide receiver Reggie Wayne in the 31-17 win. Kennedy vowed not to change his style of play despite being assessed the penalty by the NFL. The hard-hitting safety was suspended by the league without pay last year for an illegal helmet-to-helmet hit against Miami wide receiver Chris Chambers. The hit on Chambers was Kennedy's third infraction in the 2002 season for improperly using his helmet. He was also fined $7,500 for a helmet-to-helmet hit against Isaac Bruce of the St. Louis Rams and was fined an additional $10,000 for the same violation against Fred McCrary of the San Diego Chargers.
