San Francisco, CA (My Sportsbook) - Terrell Owens was placed on injured reserve Wednesday after suffering a broken left collarbone in the first half of San Francisco's 31-28 overtime victory in Philadelphia on Sunday. Owens appeared to have been injured after catching a 20-yard pass with 3:13 remaining in the first half -- his only reception of the game. He was tackled hard by Eagles safety Michael Lewis. Owens has 80 catches for 1,102 and nine touchdowns for the 49ers this season. The 30-year-old wideout likely played his last game in a San Francisco uniform. He is expected to opt out of the final three years of his contract, and test the free agent waters. To take his place on the active roster, the 49ers signed wide receiver James Jordan from the practice squad.
