Miami Heat attempt to extend their season- best three-game winning streak tonight when they welcome the
Atlanta Hawks to AmericanAirlines Arena for an Eastern Conference matchup.
Earlier this season, the Hawks defeated the Heat, 95-83, on November 28th at Philips Arena.
Miami comes into tonight's game off an emotional win. Dwyane Wade's basket with 28.2 seconds remaining in the fourth quarter lifted the Heat past the Toronto Raptors, 90-89, on Monday at Air Canada Centre.
Wade finished with 23 points, while teammate Brian Grant chipped in 19 points and 13 rebounds in the win. Lamar Odom collected 17 points and 16 boards for Miami, which has won two straight at home. Eddie Jones netted 14 points in the victory.
The Heat are 6-4 at home this season.
Atlanta comes into tonight's game having lost three straight overall and six in a row on the road.
The Hawks fell to the Orlando Magic, 105-102, on Saturday at Philips Arena. Shareef Abdur-Rahim scored 25 points for the Hawks, who have dropped seven of their last eight contests.
Stephen Jackson had 20 points, while Dion Glover scored 19 for Atlanta in the loss to Orlando.
Atlanta is 3-11 as the visitor this season.
The Heat have won four of their last five against the Hawks, who has lost three straight and 12 of their last 13 at Miami.
