The Hornets, who are 5-3 against the Western Conference, are 9-5 away from home this season.
Denver, meanwhile, also comes into tonight's tilt on a sour note after falling to the New York Knicks, 95-88, on Saturday. Rookie Carmelo Anthony poured in a game-high 25 points for the Nuggets, who have dropped three of their last four contests.
After leading by five points through three quarters, the Nuggets were outscored 31-19 in the final period.
