Cleveland, which is 0-13 away from home this season, last won a road game on January 12, 2003. New Jersey also dropped 34 straight road encounters from 1989-91. Sacramento holds the record with 43 road losses in a row from 1990-92. LeBron James, who scored a career-high 37 points on Saturday, followed that up with another strong outing for the Cavaliers, who lost their second consecutive contest. James ended this game with a game-high 27 points on 10- of-16 shooting, with six assists, three steals and three blocked shots. Prior to the game, the Cavaliers traded guard Ricky Davis to the Boston Celtics in a six-player deal. Cleveland also shipped center Chris Mihm, forward Michael Stewart and a second-round draft pick to Boston in exchange for swingman Eric Williams, center Tony Battie, and forward Kedrick Brown. Davis was averaging 15.3 points and 5.5 assists for the Cavs this season. None of the newly-acquired players were present for the game and Cleveland was forced to dress just nine players. The Cavs are off until Wednesday when they host the Houston Rockets.
