Eindhoven, Netherlands (My Sportsbook) - American Michael Bradley scored the tying goal - his 13th of the season - early in the second half and Heerenveen tied PSV, 1-1, in a battle of the hottest teams in the Eredivisie on Saturday.
Otman Bakkal gave first-place PSV the lead in the opening minute of the match, but Bradley scored in his sixth straight game in the 52nd minute.
Bradley, the son of U.S. national team coach Bob Bradley, now has 17 goals in all competitions this season. He has seven goals in his last six league games and is tied for third in scoring in the Eredivisie.
Heerenveen kept pace with defending champion PSV, which is nine points clear, and moved into second place ahead of idle Ajax. Heerenveen and Ajax are level on points but Bradley's side leads on goal differential.
Bradley's goal helped Heerenveen extend its unbeaten streak to seven straight. PSV is unbeaten in eight in a row.
Also Saturday, Kurt Elshot scored in the opening minute as NAC topped Utrecht 1-0 to move level in points with Heerenveen, Ajax and Feyenoord. NAC is fifth on goal differential.
Feyenoord was able to join the pack of four teams with 44 points - nine behind PSV - thanks to two goals from Nicky Hofs and one from Roy Makaay in a 3-0 win over De Graafschap.
In Saturday's other match, Remco van der Schaaf scored the winning goal in the 75th minute as Vitesse edged Groningen, 2-1.
On Sunday, Venlo hosts Willem II, Roda hosts Ajax, Sparta hosts Excelsior and NEC hosts AZ.
