The match will be played at Arsenal's Emirates Stadium, a venue that Brazil has played at twice in the past 18 months, beating Argentina 3-0 and suffering a 2-0 defeat to Portugal. The last time these two sides met was 1995 in a tournament in England that was won 1-0 by Brazil. Brazil will play its first match of the year on February 6 at Ireland and will take part in its first competitive matches of 2008 in World Cup qualifiers away to Paraguay and at home to Argentina in June.
