Sao Paulo, Brazil (My Sportsbook) - Sao Paulo has acquired striker Adriano from Italy's Inter Milan on a sixth-month loan, the Brazilian club announced Wednesday. Adriano, 25, has struggled to find a role with Inter in the last two seasons after being one of the top scorers in the league for a few seasons. He also has more than 20 goals for Brazil but has played just one time for his country since a poor performance in the 2006 World Cup. Adriano was rumored to be on the move during the offseason, but refused to go on loan despite interest from Italian Serie A and English Premier clubs. Sao Paulo has won the Brazilian league title the last two years.
