Rio De Janeiro, Brazil (My Sportsbook) - Former Brazil and Real Madrid coach Vanderlei Luxemburgo will leave Santos at the end of the year when his current contract runs out, he said Thursday. "The reason for my departure is the fact I have not reached common ground over the project for the next two seasons," Luxemburgo said. Santos finished second in Brazil this season, 15 points behind Sao Paulo. Luxemburgo said he was interested in coaching another club, and hinted about a move to England. "From this moment I will be open and ready to listen to a concrete offer from a club in England as well as other teams interested in my professional work," Luxemburgo said. Luxemburgo, 55, has been coaching since 1983. He coached Brazil from 1998-2000 and Real Madrid in 2005.
