Moscow, Russia (My Sportsbook) - Jefferson Farfan scored in the 39th minute as PSV escaped Dinamo Stadion with a 1-0 victory over CSKA Moscow on Tuesday in the Champions League.

PSV (2-2-1) still sits third in Group G but needed the win to stay alive for a berth in the knockout stage of the tournament.

Inter Milan clinched the top spot in the group with a 3-0 win over Fenerbahce on Tuesday, a result that helped PSV move within one point of second.

CSKA Moscow (0-4-1) lost for the fourth time in the Champions League despite taking 14 shots and having a majority of the possession.

Farfan scored off a header from just a few yards out after a cross deflected off a CSKA Moscow defender and over goalie Igor Akinfeev.

PSV managed just four shots and only two of those were on goal.

PSV plays Inter Milan on Dec. 12 and needs a win to have any chance of making the next round. Fenerbahce hosts winless CSKA Moscow on Dec. 12 and will wrap up the second spot with a victory.

PSV will still earn a spot in the UEFA Cup by finishing third in the group.
