Rome, Italy (My Sportsbook) - Mirko Vucinic scored the game-winning goal in the 69th minute as Roma beat Sporting Lisbon, 2-1, in Group F of the Champions League on Tuesday. Defender Juan scored in the 15th minute for Roma, but Sporting Lisbon tied the match three minutes later on a goal by Liedson. Vucinic, who replaced injured captain Francesco Totti in the 35th, helped Roma escape with all three points and sole possession of second place in the group. He used his speed to beat a defender and beat Lisbon goalie Tiago to the near post. Manchester United leads the group with nine points after beating Dynamo Kiev, 4-2, on Tuesday. Roma (2-1-0) and Sporting Lisbon (1-2-0) play again when the teams return to Champions League play on Nov. 7.
