Columbus, OH (My Sportsbook) - The Columbus Blue Jackets activated center Michael Peca off injured reserve Wednesday. Peca has missed Columbus' first two games of the season with a groin strain he suffered in training camp. The 33-year-old Peca, who signed with the Blue Jackets as a free agent in the offseason, missed the final four months of last year with a broken leg as a member of the Toronto Maple Leafs. In 728 career games, the Toronto, Ontario native has tallied 164 goals and 245 assists. Peca has also captured the Frank J. Selke award as the league's top defensive forward twice, once in 1996-97 as a member of the Buffalo Sabres and in 2001-02 with the New York Islanders.
