Houston, TX (My Sportsbook) - Kris Brown kicked a franchise record 57-yard field goal with one second left on the clock to give the Houston Texans a 22-19 win over the Miami Dolphins.

With the score knotted at 19-19, the Dolphins lined up for a 56-yard field goal attempt by Jay Feely with just under two minutes left, but then changed their minds after a timeout and elected to punt.

Miami buried the Texans on their own three-yard line with 1:33 remaining, but Matt Schaub quickly led Houston into Miami territory.

After a short Samkon Gado run, Schaub hooked up with tight end Owen Daniels for a 19-yard gain. One play later, Schaub once again went to Daniels for 14 yards to the Houston 37-yard line.

Schaub then found David Anderson over the middle at the Dolphins 44-yard line, After a Houston timeout, Schaub hit Kevin Walter for a short six-yard catch before spiking the ball with six seconds left on the clock.

Brown stepped on the field and split the uprights on his 57-yard attempt to give Houston the lead. The Texans elected to squib the kickoff and the Dolphins couldn't get anything going on the return.

Brown was a perfect 5-for-5 on the field goal attempts, connecting on two 54- yard field goals for the Texans (3-2), who are off to their best start in franchise history.

Brown joins Neil Rackers and Morten Anderson as the only players in NFL history to hit three field goals of 50-plus yards in one game.

Schaub completed 20-of-34 passes for 294 yards and an interception while Daniels ended with six catches for 96 yards.

Miami quarterback Trent Green was carted off the field in the first quarter with a concussion after he was hit on the side of his helmet.

Cleo Lemon took over for Green and completed 15-of-27 passes for 151 yards and an interception for the winless Dolphins (0-5), who are off to their worse start since 2004 when they started the season 0-6. Ronnie Brown continued his strong start to the season with 23 carries for 114 yards and a touchdown.

Houston got off to a fast start with an 11-play, 78-yard drive to start the game. Schaub hooked up with Andre Davis for a 49-yard completion Miami two- yard line. The Dolphins stopped Ron Dayne on three consecutive runs, but the Wisconsin product eventually bulled his way across the goal line on 4th-and- goal.

Sparked by a nice return by rookie Tedd Ginn Jr., Miami answered on its first possession of the game thanks to Jay Feely's 23- yard field goal. On 4th-and- goal on the one-yard line, the Dolphins lined up to go for it before a false start penalty forced them to kick.

Andre' Goodman then picked off a deflected Schaub pass at the Houston 25-yard line and Miami attempted a reverse with Ginn, who fumbled the exchange. Ginn managed to recover the ball and ran towards the left sideline before changing directions.

Green attempted a low block on Houston lineman Travis Johnson, but Johnson's right knee connected directly on Green's helmet. Green laid on the field motionless for several minutes before he was carted off the field.

Johnson was whistled for taunting after the play and Brown eventually scored from three yards out to give Miami a 10-7 lead.

Lemon found Ginn for a 36-yard completion early in the second quarter that set up Feely's 40-yard field goal.

Jason Taylor then blindsided Schaub on Houston's following possession, forcing the Texans QB to cough up the ball. Miami recovered and Feely's 33-yarder made it 16-7 Dolphins with 3:31 left in the first half.

Brown connected on his first 54-yard field goal with 46 seconds remaining before halftime to bring Houston within 16-10.

C.C. Brown then stepped in front of an ill-advised Lemon pass and Brown's 43- yarder made it a three-point game.

Brown's second 54-yard field goal tied the game at 16-16 late in the third quarter before Feely booted a 48-yarder early in the fourth to put Miami back on top.

Brown's 20-yarder later in the fourth tied it at 19-19.

Game Notes

Dayne finished with 16 carries for 40 yards for the Texans, who were without running back Ahman Green for the second consecutive game with a bruised knee.
