East Rutherford, NJ (My Sportsbook) - New York Giants quarterback Eli Manning will start the team's game against the Green Bay Packers on Sunday. Manning, who suffered a contusion to the AC joint in his right shoulder during New York's 45-35 season-opening loss to Dallas, managed to get back on the practice field late in the week and showed enough to be named the starter. Manning had one of his best games as a professional against the Cowboys. The former Ole Miss star threw for 312 yards with four touchdowns before leaving in the fourth quarter with the injury. Jared Lorenzen will serve as Manning's backup against the Packers.
