CINCINNATI (AP) -Cincinnati Reds shortstop Alex Gonzalez left Wednesday night's game against St. Louis after three innings with a sore left knee. Gonzalez appeared to suffer the injury while trying to beat out a double play grounder in the bottom of the third. He was playing his first game after missing two with a sore lower left shin. He left the game against Milwaukee on Saturday before the seventh inning after fouling two balls off his shin. Jeff Keppinger replaced Gonzalez at shortstop both Saturday and Wednesday.Copyright © 2005 The Associated Press. All rights reserved.
