ST. LOUIS (AP) -The St. Louis Blues signed first-round draft pick David Perron on Wednesday. The 19-year-old Perron, who plays left wing, had 39 goals and 44 assists in 70 games last season for Lewiston of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League. He led all rookies in goals and finished second in points. ``David has tremendous creativity and offensive skill,'' team president John Davidson said. ``We are looking forward to watching him compete against NHL-caliber players at training camp.''Copyright © 2005 The Associated Press.
