Calgary, AB (My Sportsbook) - Henry Burris passed for 382 yards with four touchdowns as the Calgary Stampeders defeated the Edmonton Eskimos, 35-24.
Burris was 23-of-33 passing and was intercepted once. He also ran for 59 yards on seven carries.
Ryan Thelwell pulled in seven catches for 199 yards and two touchdowns, while Ken-Yon Rambo had four catches for 62 yards and a pair of scores for the Stampeders (4-4-1), who are 2-1-1 in their last four games.
Ricky Ray passed for 270 yards with a touchdown for Edmonton (3-5-1), which has lost two in a row and three of its last four. Tyler Ebell added 45 yards rushing on 10 carries and a TD and hauled in five passes for 36 yards. Trevor Gaylor also caught had a touchdown pass.
Edmonton got on the board first when Ebell ran for a 21-yard touchdown to cap a six-play, 59-yard scoring drive to give the Eskimos the early lead. The visitors added a single midway through the opening stanza to up their lead to 8-0.
Burris hit Thelwell for a seven-yard score late in the first quarter to get Calgary within a point at 8-7.
The Eskimos put another seven on the scoreboard when Ray found Gaylor in the end zone for a 28-yard touchdown early in the second stanza making it 15-7.
Sean Fleming's 42-yard field goal gave Edmonton a 18-7 lead.
Calgary came back with a single with 6:17 remaining in the second quarter and added a touchdown a little over four minutes later when Burris connected with Rambo to get the Stampeders within 18-15.
Fleming nailed a 22-yard field goal with nine ticks left in the first half to put the Eskimos up 21-15 heading into the intermission.
The Stampeders came out of the locker room and put 14 points on the board in the third. First it was Burris hooking up with Rambo for a 14-yard score with 10:41 remaining in the quarter, then the Calgary quarterback found Thelwell for a 57-yard TD to give the home team a 29-21 lead after three.
Both teams exchanged field goals in the early stages of the fourth quarter. Sandro DeAngelis connected from 33 yards out with 13:46 to go, but Edmonton responded with a 48-yard boot by Fleming at the 10:00 mark.
Calgary took a 35-24 lead with just over three and a half minutes to play when DeAngelis drilled a 30-yard field goal.
