Eugene, OR (My Sportsbook) - Oregon defensive lineman Haloti Ngata suffered damage to the anterior cruciate and medial collateral ligaments in his left knee during the Ducks' 42-34 win at Mississippi State on Saturday. A sophomore, Ngata is expected to miss a minimum of four weeks after tests revealed the extent of the injury. He was injured in the first quarter of the contest. Ngata, who earned freshman All-America honors a year ago, could miss the rest of the season if it is determined that surgery is required. Last season, Ngata finished the year with 44 tackles and was named honorable mention all-conference in the Pac-10.
