London, England (My Sportsbook) - English Premier League giants Chelsea have agreed to sign Brazil defender Juliano Belletti from Spanish giants Barcelona. Belletti, 31, must agree to the deal and pass a physical before the transfer is finalized. Terms of the move were not disclosed. The Brazilian made only 13 league appearances for Barcelona last year, losing his starting spot to Italian Gianluca Zambrotta. Belletti joined Barcelona in 2004 and helped it win league titles in 2005 and 2006. Belletti's only goal with Barcelona was the game-winner in a 2-1 victory over Arsenal in the 2006 European Cup final. |
