Lisbon, Portugal (My Sportsbook) - Coach Jose Antonio Camacho is returning to Benfica, the Portuguese club announced Tuesday. Benfica fired Fernando Santos after the club opened the season with a 1-1 tie with promoted Leixoes. Camacho has signed a two-year contract to return to the team. Camacho coached Benfica to a second-place finish in 2004 in his previous year at the helm. Camacho begins his second stint against Vitoria Guimaraes at home on Saturday, Benfica's second league game of the season. |
