Montreal, QC (My Sportsbook) - Oriol Servia's final qualifying lap captured the provisional pole for Sunday's Molson Indy Montreal Champ Car event. The Visteon/Patrick Racing driver circled the 2.709-mile Circuit Gilles Villeneuve course, in one minute, 21.112 seconds (120.234 m.p.h.). Servia earned one championship point for the provisional pole and a guaranteed front row starting position for the race. Paul Tracy (1:21.405) was the second-fastest qualifier. On Sunday, Tracy, who has already won the Molson Indy Toronto and Molson Indy Vancouver, will try to be the first driver ever to sweep all three Canadian Champ Car events in one season, Bruno Junqueira (1:21.476), rookie Sebastien Bourdais (1:21.498) and Alex Tagliani (1:21.542) completed the top-five. With six races remaining in the 2003 CART championship, Tracy leads Junqueira by 20 points (184-164). The second qualifying session is scheduled for Saturday at 1:45 p.m. (et) with the race set to begin on Sunday at 2 p.m. (et).
