Miami, FL (My Sportsbook) - University of Miami-Florida reserve quarterback Marc Guillon has opted to leave the school's football program. Guillon is a redshirt freshman from Moraga, California. He played in two games for Miami in 2002 and connected on 3-of-5 passes for 53 yards and a touchdown. "We're certainly disappointed to be losing Marc Guillon," Hurricanes head coach Larry Coker stated. "He's a fine young man and we wish him all the best in his future endeavors." Miami, which suffered its only loss in last year's National Championship game to Ohio State, now has just three quarterbacks on scholarship. Junior Brock Berlin is expected to start, while junior Derrick Crudup and freshman Kyle Wright will serve as backups.
