CINCINNATI (AP) -Reds catcher David Ross left Sunday's game against the San Diego Padres with a headache and concussion-like symptoms after a collision with Mike Cameron at home plate. Ross was taken to a hospital and the team said results of a CT scan were normal. Cameron knocked Ross to the ground while scoring from second on Khalil Greene's two-out single to left field that gave San Diego a 3-0 lead in the third inning. Ross was on the ground in front of home plate for several minutes while being examined by trainers before deciding to stay in the game. Ross led off the bottom of the third with a bloop single down the right-field line, then left the game. Fellow catcher Javier Valentin ran for Ross. Ross began the day hitting .204 with 15 home runs and 33 RBIs in 95 games.Copyright © 2005 The Associated Press. All rights reserved.
