Nashville, TN (My Sportsbook) - Adrian McPherson, a former Florida State quarterback, enrolled at Tennessee State after school officials accepted his admissions application Tuesday. However, athletic director Teresa Phillips has previously said that the school will not allow McPherson to play football for the Tigers. McPherson, who will be a sophomore majoring in business, was sentenced to 30 months probation in July after pleading no contest to gambling and theft charges in Florida. McPherson started four games for the Seminoles during the 2002 season, but spent much of the season backing up Chris Rix. In November, McPherson was dismissed from the team by coach Bobby Bowden for being involved in the theft of a blank check that was eventually cashed for $3,500.
