London, England (My Sportsbook) - The Football Association has announced that England head coach Hope Powell will name her 21-player squad for the 2007 FIFA Women's World Cup on Wednesday Aug. 8. England will compete in the 16-team tournament for only the second time, having finished top, and unbeaten, in a qualifying group containing France, the Netherlands, Hungary and Austria. England get their World Cup campaign under way against Japan in Shanghai on Sept. 11, and will also face Argentina and the holders and European champions Germany in Group A. |
