Chicago, IL (My Sportsbook) - When the U.S. Women's National Team headed to San Jose, Calif., Monday to prepare for its friendly against Japan on Saturday, its full 21-player roster for the 2007 Women's World Cup in China was present. Head coach Greg Ryan has filled the last three spots after naming the first 18 players about two weeks ago.

To round out the squad, Ryan named midfielder Angela Hucles, forward Natasha Kai and defender Marian Dalmy to the WWC team, which will play three more matches in the United States during its Send-Off Series before departing for China on Aug. 27. The 2007 FIFA Womens World Cup will be held Sept. 10-30 in five Chinese cities. The USA opens its tournament on Sept. 11 in Chengdu against North Korea.

"With the announcement of the final three players for the 21-player roster for the Womens World Cup, we are moving into our final preparation phase," Ryan said. "We'll move forward now in focusing on our team concept both on and off the field. I'm confident that this group of players has the talent and commitment required to bring the World Cup trophy back to the USA."

With the addition of Womens World Cup rookies Kai and Dalmy, 12 of the 21 players were named to their first Women's World Cup Team, the most first- timers ever for any U.S. Womens World Cup Team since the tourney started in 1991.

Despite the number of players entering their first Womens World Cup, the 2007 U.S. Womens World Cup Team has an average age of 26.7 years old.

Following the Japan match Saturday night, the USA will have a little more than a week off before regrouping in Chicago on Aug. 6 in preparation for a match against New Zealand on Aug. 12 at Soldier Field. The USA plays its final domestic match on Aug. 25 against Finland at The Home Depot Center in Carson, Calif. before departing for China.

Below is the complete 21-player World Cup roster for the U.S. National Team:

GOALKEEPERS - Nicole Barnhart (Gilbertsville, Pa.), Briana Scurry (Dayton, Minn.), Hope Solo (Richland, Wash.).

DEFENDERS - Marian Dalmy (Lakewood, Colo.), Tina Ellertson (Vancouver, Wash.), Stephanie Lopez (Elk Grove, Calif.), Kate Markgraf (Bloomfield Hills, Mich.), Christie Rampone (Point Pleasant, N.J.), Cat Whitehill (Birmingham, Ala.).

FORWARDS - Natasha Kai (Kahuku, Hawaii), Kristine Lilly (Wilton, Conn.), Heather OReilly (East Brunswick, N.J.), Lindsay Tarpley (Kalamazoo, Mich.), Abby Wambach (Rochester, N.Y.).
