(My Sportsbook) - Argentina captain Roberto Ayala retired from international soccer Tuesday, just days after he scored an own goal in the final of the Copa America, a 3-0 loss to Brazil. Ayala enjoyed a long, successful international career, playing in his first game for Argentina in 1994. He played in 115 games for Argentina, the most in the country's history. He was on Argentina's 1998 and 2006 World Cup teams and played on the gold medal team in the 2004 Olympics.
