Maritimo names Lazaroni new manager

Lisbon, Portugal (My Sportsbook) - Portuguese Liga club Maritimo named former Brazil coach Sebastiao Lazaroni as their new manager on Wednesday.

The 57-year-old Lazaroni, who was fired as the boss of Turkish club Trabzonspor last season, coached Brazil in the 1990 World Cup. He also has coached Italian clubs Fiorentina and Bari.

Maritimo finished 11th in the 16-team standings this season.
