Kirkland, WA (My Sportsbook) - The Seattle Seahawks signed free agent Randall Godfrey on Monday, less than a week after the middle linebacker was cut by the Tennessee Titans. Godfrey was released by Tennessee just three months after restructuring his contract to give the Titans some salary cap relief. The 30-year-old Godfrey sustained an ankle injury during Tennessee's 27-24 come-from-behind victory over the Philadelphia Eagles on September 8 last season, limiting him to just eight games in 2002. The seven-year pro out of Georgia had amassed 110 or more tackles in each of the five seasons prior to 2002. Godfrey was acquired by Tennessee as an unrestricted free agent in 2000 from the Dallas Cowboys.
