Portland, OR (My Sportsbook) - With rain shortening final qualifying by 15 minutes, Paul Tracy earned the pole for Sunday's G.I. Joe's 200. Tracy circled the 1.969-mile road course in 58.793 seconds (120.565 m.p.h.). The pole victory was Tracy's second of the season and 15th of his CART career. "This pole is a message to all the naysayers in the paddock," said Tracy. Starting on the front row with Tracy is points leader and Friday's fastest qualifier Michel Jourdain Jr. Adrian Fernandez (59.948) and rookie sensation Sebastien Bourdais (58.976) will start in row two. Alex Tagliani (59.061) completes the top-five. The race is scheduled to begin on Sunday at 3:30 p.m. (et).
