Nashville, TN (My Sportsbook) - The Los Angeles Kings have re-acquired center Jozef Stumpel from the Boston Bruins in a deal involving three draft picks. The Bruins traded Stumpel, who played for the Kings from 1997-2001, and a seventh-round pick in this weekend's draft to Los Angeles in exchange for a fourth-round choice in this draft and a second-round selection next year. The NHL Draft will start Saturday in Nashville. This is the third deal between the Bruins and Kings involving Stumpel. In August of 1997, Boston traded him to Los Angeles in a deal that sent goaltender Byron Dafoe to the Bruins. Then, in October of 2001, Stumpel and Glen Murray were traded by Los Angeles to Boston for Jason Allison and Mikko Eloranta. Stumpel had 14 goals and 51 points in 78 games for the Bruins last season. He has 143 goals and 368 assists in 694 NHL games for Boston and Los Angeles. The 30-year-old Slovakian began his NHL career with the Bruins in 1991.
