Jacksonville, FL (My Sportsbook) - The Jacksonville Jaguars have signed offensive lineman Sammy Williams to a one-year contract. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. The 28-year-old Williams spent last season with the San Diego Chargers and played in 12 games, starting seven at either right or left tackle. In 30 NFL games with Baltimore, Kansas City and San Diego, Williams has started 14. The 6-5, 300-pound product of Oklahoma was selected in the sixth round by Baltimore in 1998 and spent the entire season on injured reserve with a knee injury suffered in the final pre-season game. Williams was released by the Ravens in training camp in 1999, then played in two games with Kansas City before being waived. The Ravens reclaimed him and he remained with Baltimore before signing with the Chargers last summer.
