Kirkland, WA (My Sportsbook) - The Seattle Seahawks signed placekicker Josh Brown to a multi-year contract on Friday. Brown, a seventh-round draft choice out of Nebraska, agreed to a $948,500 contract. The deal also includes a $38,500 signing bonus. He is just the third kicker selected in the draft by Seattle, joining Don Bitterlich (3rd round in 1976) and John Kasay (4th round in 1991). Brown finished third on the Cornhuskers all-time scoring list with 315 points, topped only by Kris Brown (388, 1995-98) and Eric Crouch (368, 1998-2001). Seattle needed a kicker after free agent Rian Lindell inked a four-year deal with Buffalo. The Seahawks declined to match the offer.
