=== Dolphins re-sign WR Gadsden === Miami, FL (My Sportsbook) - Wide receiver Oronde Gadsden re-signed with the Miami Dolphins for one year on Friday. Financial terms of the deal were not released. The 31-year-old Gadsden, who played just six games last season after undergoing season-ending surgery on his left wrist, re-signed with the Dolphins after an unsuccessful foray into the free-agent market. He caught 16 passes for 228 yards in 2002 before suffering ligament damage in his wrist in a game against Denver on October 13. Formerly retired wide receiver Cris Carter was then signed to take Gadsden's place on the roster. Gadsden has 223 receptions for 3,204 yards and 22 touchdowns in 68 career games with Miami, including 55 starts. He joined the Dolphins in 1998 as a free agent after spending time in the AFL. |
