Jacksonville, FL (My Sportsbook) - The Jacksonville Jaguars signed wide receiver Matthew Hatchette Wednesday. The six-year veteran was signed by the Raiders before last season, but released after training camp. He spent this spring playing for the NFL Europe League's Amsterdam Admirals, where he led the league in receiving with 61 receptions for 790 yards and eight touchdowns. Hatchette last played in the NFL two seasons ago for the New York Jets and spent the previous four years with the Minnesota Vikings. In 59 NFL games, he has caught 45 passes for 684 yards and four touchdowns. The 6-3, 205-pounder was Minnesota's seventh-round pick out of Langston University in Oklahoma. |
