Heerenveen, Holland (My Sportsbook) - Petter Hansson scored the game's only goal as Heerenveen moved into sixth place, three behind idle Feyenoord, for the last Champions League qualifying playoff spot in the Dutch Eredivisie Saturday.

The Swedish defender's tally against RKC Waalwijk came in the 30th minute of the contest when he collected a long ball and fired from about 18-yards out. Goalkeeper Erwin Lemmens misplayed the ball as it slipped through his hands and went between his legs into the goal.

The teams traded opportunities throughout the second half, with none doing any major damage.

With the loss, RKC seems entrenched in the relegation zone with 19 points on 28 contests, good for second-to-last in front of idle De Haag. Heerenveen, on the other hand, looks like it has a good chance to gain ground on the top five as Feyenoord takes on second-placed AZ Alkmaar Sunday and third-placed Twente hosts fourth-placed Ajax.

In other Eredivisie action on Saturday, NAC Breda and Heracles battled to a 1-1 draw, Willem II earned a 3-0 win over FC Groningen and NEC spanked Sparta 4-0.
