Jacksonville, FL (My Sportsbook) - Former San Francisco 49ers wide receiver J.J. Stokes signed a one-year contract with the Jacksonville Jaguars on Monday. The former first-round draft pick is expected to be the Jaguars' No. 2 receiver across from Jimmy Smith. Stokes had spent all eight of his NFL seasons with San Francisco, catching 327 passes for 4,139 yards with 30 touchdowns in his career. He lost his job as the club's No. 2 receiver last season to Tai Streets. He averaged 41 catches a year and is still in search of his first 1,000-yard receiving season. |
