Monterey, CA (My Sportsbook) - Veteran driver Max Papis will make his return to the CART Series in next weekend's G.I. Joe's 200 at the Portland International Raceway. "PK Racing is dedicated to winning races, and we will continue to do whatever it takes to achieve that goal," co-owner Kevin Kalkhoven said. PK Racing began the season with rookie Patrick Lemarie behind the wheel, but he was dropped for another veteran Bryan Herta at this weekend's Grand Prix of Monterey. Herta finished 11th. "Mad Max", who has three Champ Car wins to his credit, was racing in the 24 Hours of Lemans this weekend where he drove to a fifth-place finish. |
