Milwaukee Bucks attempt to halt a three-game losing streak when they welcome the
Toronto Raptors tonight to the Bradley Center.
On Monday, Earl Boykins poured in 26 points and dished out 11 assists as the Denver Nuggets knocked off Milwaukee, 104-92, at the Pepsi Center.
Ruben Patterson led the Bucks with 29 points and 12 rebounds in the loss to the Nuggets. Ersan Ilyasova had 15 points and Steve Blake contributed 11 points and seven assists in defeat.
Prior to Monday's game, it was announced that sharp-shooting guard Michael Redd will miss four-to-six weeks with a strained patellar tendon in his left knee. Redd, who leads the Bucks in scoring (27.7 ppg), suffered the injury in Saturday's 95-86 loss to the Cleveland Cavaliers at the Bradley Center.
Milwaukee is 9-5 at home this season. The Bucks are scheduled to visit the Philadelphia 76ers on Friday at the Wachovia Center.
Toronto plays the middle contest of a three-game road trip. On Tuesday, Vince Carter had 32 points, seven assists and five rebounds as the New Jersey Nets pounded the Toronto Raptors, 101-86, at Continental Airlines Arena.
Rookie Andrea Bargnani poured in 22 points in the loss to the Nets for Toronto, while Jose Calderon had 16 points and 12 assists for the Raptors, who had a two-game winning streak halted and have lost four of their last six contests overall. Chris Bosh ended with 12 points and six boards in defeat.
The Raptors are 5-15 on the road this season. They will visit the Boston Celtics on Friday at TD Banknorth Garden.
This is the second meeting of the season between the squads. On November 3rd, Bosh scored 26 points and grabbed 15 rebounds to lead the Raptors to a 109-92 victory over Milwaukee at the Air Canada Centre.
Toronto has lost two straight after winning its last three at Milwaukee. The Raptors have won two of the last three contests in this series.
